About The Position

Clever Advertising is a multinational digital brand serving the iGaming industry for the last 15 years with innovative advertising and technology solutions. This role involves processing invoices, managing accounts payables, preparing payment runs, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial postings. The position also requires maintaining intercompany accounts, addressing queries from payment providers, assisting in the monthly close process, documenting procedures, and supporting audit requests.

Requirements

A relevant qualification in accounting, or working towards ACCA.
At least 2 years' experience in an accounts payable role, ideally within a company with an international footprint, including basic knowledge of standard accounting activities such as vendor and intercompany reconciliations.
Strong working knowledge of VAT rules, plus proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
High attention to detail, comfortable working with high transaction volumes and multiple currencies.
Comfortable communicating in English, both written and verbal.
Capable of working independently, meeting deadlines, and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Process invoices, review and process other accounts payables, and prepare daily payment runs across suppliers.
Maintain the accuracy and completeness of all invoice details and ensure they are posted correctly in the accounting software.
Ensure all related postings are timely and kept up-to-date.
Ensure intercompany accounts are updated with transactions and reconciled monthly.
Respond to and address all queries from payment providers and resolve any related issues.
Assist in the monthly close process, including monthly intercompany reconciliation and preparing related journal entries.
Help document the processes for purchases, payables, and payments, including any changes.
Support audit requests for purchase invoices and bank-related processes.
