About The Position

Anju Software is expanding its global finance function and seeks a strategic, hands-on Finance Director based in Canada. You'll own the global accounting and finance operation across multiple legal entities (US, UK, Germany, India), lead the month-end close, and drive FP&A, forecasting, and cash-flow planning. You'll act as a key financial partner to the Managing Director and U.S. leadership, balancing strategic oversight with day-to-day execution in a fast-moving, multi-currency environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CA, or MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including a leadership role, preferably with U.S.-based companies
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite (required)
  • Experience in a SaaS or subscription-based business
  • AI-fluent with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities remotely

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ASC 606 and SaaS revenue recognition
  • Familiarity with SaaS KPIs (ARR, MRR, churn, deferred revenue)
  • Multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation experience (US, UK, EU, India)
  • Hands-on AP and FP&A/financial modeling experience

Responsibilities

  • Own the global finance and accounting function, setting strategy, priorities, and standards across all legal entities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team; manage relationships with external advisors, auditors, and tax partners
  • Serve as a strategic finance partner to the Managing Director and leadership
  • Execute month-end and quarter-end close activities in NetSuite
  • Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
  • Perform balance sheet and income statement reconciliations
  • Maintain and reconcile deferred revenue schedules in accordance with ASC 606
  • Support subscription billing and revenue workflows (SaaS)
  • Own multi-entity accounting across US, UK, Germany, and India, including intercompany transactions and multi-currency consolidation
  • Manage the full accounts payable (AP) cycle
  • Partner with FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow modeling
  • Support the subscription renewal cycle and SaaS KPI tracking
  • Calculate and reconcile sales commissions, partnering with Sales and HR
  • Prepare and deliver KPI reporting to the portfolio/ownership group
  • Manage accounts receivable and collections efforts
