About The Position

The Finance Development Program (FDP) Internship at Regions Bank is a 10-week summer experience designed for motivated and analytical students. Interns will gain hands-on exposure to the Finance organization, supporting projects that drive business performance, financial planning, and strategic decision-making across the bank. This program offers practical experience, opportunities to expand professional networks, and develop foundational skills for a successful career in finance. Interns will be assigned to one of the following Finance functional areas: Corporate Treasury, Corporate Finance & Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Corporate Development, Corporate Strategy, Investor Relations, or Accounting.

Requirements

A college student who has interest in developing technical skills and gaining work experience
Ability to work 40 hours a week for 10 weeks
Regions will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.
Applicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
A student currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
Expected graduation between December 2027 and May 2029
Ability to work 40 hours per week for 10 weeks during the summer in Birmingham, AL

Responsibilities

Receives exposure to all basic functions of assigned group within the financial industry
Exposed to a wide range of tasks including research, administrative and correspondence work and attend meetings

Gains valuable insight within a variety of functions while strengthening core skills and knowledge needed to launch a successful career
Analyze financial and operational data to support business decision-making
Contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and reporting activities
