About The Position

The Finance Business Partner is responsible for understanding the financial consequences and effects of business decisions, translating financial information into business decisions, and vice versa. This role involves close collaboration with Group Finance to enhance data quality for better decision-making and performance tracking. The partner will advise Business Units on future financial performance, provide consulting and coaching, and offer forward-looking financial insights. Responsibilities include presenting Business Unit performance through Monthly Business Reviews and other forums, supporting Business Units with appropriate KPI targets, and collaborating with Corporate Development and Business Finance colleagues to leverage internal knowledge and structures. The role also entails leading forecast and budget work, including scenario analysis and risk mitigation, and continuously improving Business Unit monitoring and standardizing best practices. Adherence to company values (trust, focus, collaboration, grit), following work health and safety rules, and complying with company policies and processes are also general responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Relevant University Experience Within Finance, or equivalent work experience with 5+ years.
  • Professional experience in financial analysis.
  • Proficient skills in Powerpoint and Excel.
  • Fluent in English

Responsibilities

  • Close collaboration with other functions with Group Finance to ensure improved quality of internal and external data to enable better business decision making and performance tracking.
  • Advise the Business Unit in areas related to future state financial performance, including consulting and coaching, forward looking financial insight.
  • Responsible for transparent and comprehensive presentation of the Business Units through Monthly Business Reviews as well as in other less formal forums.
  • Supporting the Business Units and their respective subdivisions with appropriate KPI targets, to ensure positive development in the businesses.
  • Close collaboration with other colleagues in Corporate Development and Business Finance to ensure high utilization of internal knowledge and structures, such as databooks.
  • Lead the forecast and budget work for Business Units, including scenario analysis, and identification and mitigation plans of risks.
  • Continuous improvement of Business Unit monitoring and gradual standardization of best practices and models to increase visibility and stability.
  • Support with various ad-hoc analysis, projects, and investigations.
