About The Position

Our client is seeking an experienced Finance & Business Operations Coordinator to support the financial and administrative operations of a large organization. This position will oversee a variety of fiscal, administrative, purchasing, HR coordination, and business operations responsibilities while providing support to senior leadership. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, budgeting, and administrative management, along with excellent organizational and communication skills. This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable managing multiple priorities, working independently, and collaborating with leadership and other departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in fiscal and administrative management.
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and budgeting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees and leadership at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information and exercise sound judgment.
  • General knowledge of HR practices and employment guidelines.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, procurement, and administrative operations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day fiscal and administrative operations, including budgeting, accounting, purchasing, billing, and financial reporting.
  • Assist with the development and management of annual budgets, including tracking expenditures and revenues.
  • Monitor financial activity and ensure spending remains aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing, and related financial processes.
  • Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, audit materials, and other fiscal documentation.
  • Work with internal departments and leadership on budget planning, financial reporting, and accounting adjustments.
  • Manage vendor relationships, purchasing activities, contracts, and related administrative processes.
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, internal controls, and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support leadership with strategic planning, performance measurements, reporting, and special projects.
  • Coordinate departmental meetings and ensure smooth administrative operations and internal communication.
  • Partner with Human Resources on employee recruitment, onboarding, position changes, separations, and employee records.
  • Provide guidance related to timekeeping and oversee payroll submissions.
  • Assist with employee training and development initiatives.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial and employee information.
  • Supervise and support a small administrative team.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as needed.
