Position Overview: As the Automotive Finance Business Manager, you will play a critical role in our sales process, ensuring that our customers receive the best financing options available. You will work closely with the sales team to offer tailored financing solutions, present qualifying products such as GAP insurance, extended warranties, tire protection, and more, manage customer relationships, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Your goal is to maximize dealership profitability while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role in the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive financing, insurance products, and additional qualifying vehicle protection products.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in dealership management software (Reynolds & Reynolds a plus) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure a seamless and positive purchasing experience.
  • Present and sell finance and insurance products, including GAP insurance, extended warranties, tire protection, and other qualifying products, ensuring all options are clearly communicated.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of financing options with lenders and customers.
  • Prepare and finalize all necessary paperwork, including loan applications and contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations, including title and tag agencies.
  • Monitor and track the performance of F&I products and services, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Train and mentor sales staff on F&I products and services to increase dealership revenue.
  • Stay current with industry trends and legal requirements, ensuring the dealership remains compliant and competitive.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
