About The Position

Performs a variety of tasks to support the Controller. Performs all functions of accounts receivable. Represents, exemplifies, and supports the management and mission of all Woods companies creating a remarkable experience for each other and our homeowners.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Skill in operating personal computer and programs such as Excel, QuickBooks and other accounting related software.
• Skill in math.
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to reconcile accounts.
• Possess talent and professional traits: Cooperation, Problem Identification & Solution, Organization of Work, Attention to Detail, Willingness to Learn, Integrity, Tolerance for Stress
• One (1) year to three (3) years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting; or, An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

• Associates Degree in accounting and/or finance is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all accounts receivable
• Responsible for accounts receivable collections
• Responsible for entering all customer invoices into QuickBooks.
• Entering invoices into QuickBooks on a timely basis;
• Correctly recording invoices to appropriate general ledger account
• Prepares weekly and month ending reports
• Assists as a support function to all company management as needed
• Regular and punctual attendance.
• Performs other related duties as requested or assigned by management.
