About The Position

Santander US is hiring undergraduate students for its 2027 Finance and Accounting Summer Internship Program, based in Boston, Massachusetts. The program begins in June 2027 and is intended for students expecting to graduate in May or June 2028. Interns contribute to business initiatives while learning about the banking industry and Santander’s operations, with training and hands-on experience designed to develop technical, analytical, professional, and interpersonal skills. Interns are placed in a specific business area according to their skills, experience, and business needs. Potential placements include Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Treasury, and Finance Operations. Interns may gain exposure to financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning, and develop skills in financial analysis, data interpretation, and Excel modeling. They will communicate insights to business leaders, contribute to cross-functional initiatives, and receive guidance from a mentor throughout the summer while building their Santander network. The position requires authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship to commence employment. The role includes frequent minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing, and walking; occasional moving and lifting of light equipment or furniture may be required depending on location. The stated base pay range is annualized, but no numerical range is provided in the description. The employer may revise duties and the job description, and employment may be terminated by either party at any time for any reason.
