Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
  • Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and present ideas clearly
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Excel or similar tools is a plus
  • Gain a working knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements and how they will affect their work.
  • Comply with all requirements of the BSA and cooperate with the designated BSA Officer in assuring compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile key accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Support month-end close with journal entries and accruals
  • Process invoices and expense reports in line with internal controls
  • Track fixed assets, depreciation, and prepaid expenses
  • Analyze financial variances across statements
  • Contribute to process improvements and special projects
  • Prepare materials and insights for ALM and pricing discussions
  • Assist with investment research and documentation
