About The Position

Lucky Goat Coffee is a specialty coffee roaster based in Tallahassee, Florida, growing its national presence since 2010. The company remains focused on brand expansion through exceptional customer experience and operational excellence. To support this growth, the Finance Administrator role has been created.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or Business (CPA a plus) or 5+ years experience
  • Strong QuickBooks Desktop (or similar) experience
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication
  • Self-starter with strong integrity and ability to manage priorities

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in retail, manufacturing, food & beverage, or multi-location businesses preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain general ledger, journal entries, accruals, and daily bookkeeping
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close; prepare financial statements with variance analysis
  • Ensure accurate revenue recognition across all sales channels (GAAP)
  • Manage sales tax filings and support tax compliance with CPA
  • Support AP/AR, invoicing, collections, deposits, and vendor management
  • Assist with inventory, cost accounting, and profitability analysis
  • Maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and compliance
  • Coordinate audits and serve as liaison to CPAs and advisors
  • Manage insurance policies and track lease agreements
  • Support budgeting, reporting, and process improvements
