About The Position

The Finance Analyst supports strategies to increase profitability, improve process efficiency, reduce costs, and drive overall business improvement. The role partners with leadership to deliver financial and strategic results using Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) best practices, and supports corporate FP&A processes, initiatives, and reporting within Operations. The selected candidate may work from a Sysco operating company location in Little Rock, Arkansas; Norman, Oklahoma; or Lewisville, Texas.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
At least 1 year of financial or business-related analysis experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with broad knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work with a diverse group of people.
Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and with little direct supervision.
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Facilitate the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process and tools within the Region.
Support Region management in preparing the monthly business review for corporate.
Support Region management in preparing the quarterly Business Review.
Support the Region finance team during the monthly close process.
Collaborate with Sysco Business Services during the monthly process to ensure a timely and accurate close.
Develop and deploy tools and processes across the organization as defined by the business.
Perform customer incentive analysis and propose recommendations.
Provide cross-functional support to all departments on local and corporate initiatives.
Perform financial modeling and ad hoc analytics.
Perform other duties as assigned.
