As a Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. This role requires a detail-oriented person with strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of financial principles, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The role will also be responsible for assisting in the development, preparation, and consolidation of the monthly reforecast and annual business planning process. You will provide detailed analysis of financial results, variance to budget, and tracking to forecast, and respond to inquiries regarding financial results and margin projections. You will also perform ad hoc analysis, assist with other projects, and help lead the cash forecast development, preparation, and consolidation. Additionally, you will produce daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports, assist in preparing wires, and serve as backup for Treasury-related activities. You will maintain the division cost tracker for all expenses to help ensure invoices are coded accurately, perform daily operational functions critical to the business unit, and design and build dashboards to measure performance and assist in directing team’s efforts towards initiatives with the largest impact. A key focus will be on continuous business process improvements, challenging current processes and procedures, and implementing improvements where possible. This role involves Financial Analysis, Reporting, and Data Management, including conducting in-depth financial analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning, evaluating financial performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks, and preparing accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. You will present findings and insights to management, highlighting trends, opportunities, and potential risks, and maintain and update financial databases and spreadsheets, ensuring data accuracy and integrity for financial reporting purposes. In Budgeting, Forecasting, and Variance Analysis, you will assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, collaborate with department heads to gather budget inputs and provide analysis on budget variances, and analyze and explain variances between budgeted and actual financial performance, providing recommendations to improve financial efficiency and effectiveness. You will also participate in Ad-Hoc Financial Projects as assigned by the Director of Finance or VP of Finance and contribute to process improvements and the implementation of best practices.
