Reporting to the Associate Director of Finance and Operations, the Finance Administrator is responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of the department, including budget monitoring, reconciliations, and the maintenance of accurate financial records. The position plays a key role in preparing financial reports, forecasts, and budget proposals, while ensuring departmental compliance with university policies and procedures. Serving as the primary liaison between the department and central finance, the Finance Administrator will manage contracts, funding allocations, and respond to financial inquiries from faculty, staff, and students. The role also includes providing training and guidance on financial processes and identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency through the implementation of best practices. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, well-organized, and capable of communicating financial information clearly to a diverse university community.
