About The Position

INFICON is seeking a Finance/Accounting Intern to learn various areas of the Finance team to expand basic knowledge of accounting and business. Responsibilities may include, but may not be limited to, assisting with fixed asset physical inventory, reconciling SAP to Vendor and Customer Statements, monitoring the A/P inbox, moving invoices to SAP, and acquiring necessary approvals, confirming vendor info and assisting with vendor changes, assisting with vendor set up forms and bank payment information, assisting with obtaining customer credit reference data and following up on past due invoices, completing daily customer invoicing, completing selected balance sheet reconciliations, assisting with records retention, and contributing to various projects as assigned.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Satisfactory completion of introductory accounting courses and a basic understanding of accounting and financial principles
Strong verbal and written communication skills
High level of efficiency, accuracy and responsibility
Organization and time management skills
Motivation and strong desire to take on new challenges
Reliable transportation, as our facility is not conveniently located near a bus route

Responsibilities

Assist with fixed asset physical inventory
Reconcile SAP to Vendor and Customer Statements
Monitor A/P inbox, move invoices to SAP, and acquire necessary approvals

Assist with vendor set up forms and bank payment information
Assist with obtaining customer credit reference data and following up on past due invoices
