About The Position

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking reliable contractor teams for its Final Mile Service Provider Network to meet high customer demand for basketball hoop delivery/installation and fitness equipment delivery/assembly. Opportunities also exist in other final-mile categories such as furniture, home goods, and seasonal items. Contractors can earn between $40,000 and $100,000+ annually, with weekly settlements. Contractors have the flexibility to accept only jobs that match their team's skills, equipment, and AIT requirements. High demand is currently noted for basketball hoop installations, fitness equipment assembly, and fitness equipment repair.

Requirements

Possess a valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Be physically able and skilled to deliver and assemble products according to manufacturer's specifications.
Be tech-savvy to use mobile applications for completing orders.
Provide and maintain the necessary tools and vehicle(s) for completing orders.
Possess an EIN.
Comply with vehicle, registration, and insurance requirements set forth by AIT.
Pass background checks and drug screens for all owners, drivers, and helpers.

Responsibilities

Operate as a two-person contractor team (Driver + Helper) for most assignments.
Own or lease a pickup truck, van, sprinter, or small box truck (not required for assembly-only or repair work).
Ensure EIN and DOT compliance (MC# may be required for interstate work).
Maintain a Certificate of Insurance (COI) that meets AIT requirements.
Accept jobs that match the team's skills, equipment, and AIT requirements.
Perform Assembly Only tasks (one-person work) by arriving at the customer's home and assembling the product on-site.
Perform Delivery and Assembly tasks (two-person team) by picking up from a local retailer, delivering to the customer's home, and assembling to manufacturer specifications.
Perform Repair tasks (one-person work) by arriving at the customer's home and repairing according to manufacturer instructions using manufacturer-provided parts.
Service products including Basketball Hoops (Portable & In-Ground), Fitness Equipment (Treadmills, Ellipticals, and Similar), Ready-to-Assemble Furniture and Home Goods, and Backyard Products (Playsets, Pergolas, Gazebos, Grills, Patio Sets, and Similar).
