About The Position

AIT Worldwide Logistics is growing its Final Mile Service Provider Network and is seeking reliable contractor teams to meet strong customer demand for basketball hoop delivery/installation (portable & in-ground) and fitness equipment delivery/assembly. Opportunities also exist in other final-mile categories, including furniture, home goods, and seasonal items. Contractors can earn $40,000–$100,000+ annually, with weekly settlements. Contractors have the flexibility to accept only the jobs that match their team's skills, equipment, and AIT requirements. High demand is currently noted for basketball hoop installs and fitness equipment assembly.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean MVR.
For larger trucks: MC# for interstate work.
Must be physically able and skilled to deliver and assemble products according to manufacturer's specifications.
Must be tech-savvy to use mobile applications to complete orders.
Must provide and maintain tools and vehicle(s) used to complete orders.
All owners, drivers, and helpers must pass background checks and drug screens.

Responsibilities

Operate as a two-person contractor team (Driver + Helper).
Own or lease a truck or van.
Maintain EIN and DOT compliance (MC# required for some interstate work).
Possess a Certificate of Insurance (COI) that meets AIT requirements.
Accept jobs that match the team's skills, equipment, and AIT requirements.
Perform Assembly Only services: Arrive at the customer's home and assemble the product on site.
Perform Delivery Only services: Pick up from a local retailer and deliver according to order instructions.
Perform Delivery and Assembly services: Pick up from a local retailer, deliver to the customer's home, and assemble to manufacturer specifications.
Service products including Basketball Hoops (Portable & In-Ground), Fitness Equipment (Treadmills, Ellipticals, and Similar), Ready-to-Assemble Furniture and Home Goods, and Backyard Products (Playsets, Pergolas, Gazebos, Grills, Patio Sets, and Similar).
