About The Position
The Final Inspector inspects, sorts, and weighs manufactured rubber components in various shapes and sizes. Individuals may use a microscope, magnifying glass, and various other hand tools such as tweezers, scissors, and cotton swabs.
Requirements
- Ability to speak to others to convey information effectively.
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions to problems
- Vision – near and medium distance/color, hearing
- Cleanroom Personnel must be able to don and doff appropriate attire
Responsibilities
- Inspect manufactured products for conformance to specifications
- Discard component with defects, including but not limited to cracks, marks, holes, tears, and contamination
- Notify the supervisor of excessive defects on any particular component
- Note accepted/rejected counts on product paperwork.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the department lead or supervisor.
