The Insulator is responsible for applying insulation to major components on commercial/industrial refrigeration and HVAC equipment.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Read and understand engineering drawings, instructions, and bills of material.
Sign off on all administrative paperwork upon job completion.
Locate necessary equipment, tools, and parts for each job.
Maneuver around units and sustain awkward positions to accurately adhere insulation using glue.
Track insulation usage and communicate with the stockroom.
Contribute to team efforts by collaborating with others and accomplishing related functions as needed.
Complete tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Comply with government regulations, laws, company policies, and procedures.
Check work for quality and ensure standards are met.
Work overtime as necessary and arrive on time.
Accurately record time in the attendance system for proper labor distribution and payroll.
Follow manufacturing instructions, work independently, stay self-motivated, and complete assignments on time.
Care for tools and equipment, and report any maintenance issues.
Maintain a clean work area.
