Final Assembly Technician
About The Position
This position is responsible for the final assembly and quality testing for completed tanks. The role involves fully upfitting a tank based on production needs, including fitting and installing trays and toolboxes, installing bumpers, and installing sill-boards. The technician will also be responsible for hydro testing tanks, cleaning and inspecting, and maintaining housekeeping in the shop. Adherence to production timelines, attendance, and quality control guidelines are essential. The position requires the ability to read prints and follow instructions, and work collaboratively with the team.
Requirements
- Ability to schedule work load and material efficiency
- Ability to read and interpret schematics
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders
- Familiar with 5S method of processing
- Complete understanding of fabrication mathematics
- Ability to measure and verify dimensions using various measuring devices: tape measure, caliper, machinist square, pro-tractor
- Must be able to clearly communicate with others either verbally or via written communication
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
Responsibilities

- Stay within production timelines established

- Probationary period and eval for first 30 days
- Needs to have personal tools on list
- Ability to read print and follow instructions
- Follow guidelines for quality control
- Adhere to all safety protocols
- Work with the team to accomplish goals
- Other duties as assigned and as needed
