About The Position

Air Liquide is hiring for a Driver-Filling Plant Operator in Cambridge. This hybrid position requires the candidate to be available for both shifts: 6:30 am to 3 pm and 11 am to 7 pm. As an AZ driver, you will provide safe, efficient, prompt, and courteous pick-up and delivery service for gases, while promoting ALC’s quality and safety objectives. You will also be responsible for the filling and movement of cylinders of Medical and Industrial gasses and on the quality control based on the GMP (Good Manufacturing Process).

Requirements

Valid AZ license with a clean driver's abstract.
A minimum of 5 years experience in the delivery industry.
Customer service experience.
Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50lbs.

Nice To Haves

Forklift Certification.
Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) certification.

Responsibilities

Provides prompt and courteous delivery of cylinder gases and/or welding supplies.
Picks up empty cylinders as required.
Loads and unloads trucks with other team members and ensures trucks are loaded efficiently and in accordance with regulations.
Picks own load of cylinders, plans out the day based on items dispatched, drives to required sites, picks up empties then offloads trucks upon return.
Ensures that maintenance and general appearance of the truck and all equipment used in the performance of duties are properly maintained.
Preparing empty cylinders for filling.
Filling and handling high pressure cylinders while following Air Liquid's safety requirements.
Responsible for quality and safety control.
