About The Position

Under the direction of the Production Supervisor and/or Production Manager, the Filler Operator follows established procedures and policies while producing products that meet or exceed applicable standards. The role prioritizes safety, quality, and efficiency to meet company goals. The shift is 9:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The position works in a factory environment with varying noise and heat levels, and may occasionally involve a varying work routine.

Requirements

GED or high school diploma.
Ability to work well with people.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to multitask.
Ability to work independently and in a team-based environment.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in a manufacturing setting.
Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

Operate and clean filling equipment.
Operate and clean multiple high-speed filling machines in a sanitary, efficient, and effective manner.
Complete paperwork in accordance with government regulations and HP Hood requirements.
Safely operate assigned equipment while following JHA requirements.
Consistently meet production quotas.
Comply with policies and guidelines for production and sanitation processes.
Participate in cross-training to maximize departmental efficiency.
Maintain product weights, codes, packaging, temperature levels, and sanitizing to ensure product quality.
Work cooperatively with managers, supervisors, and peers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
