About The Position

Purity Dairy is looking for a Filler Operator for our Nashville facility. The Filler Operator is responsible for operating Filling machines and making necessary adjustments to ensure production of containers is made in a safe, efficient, and high-quality manner. This role involves monitoring conveyor lines for damaged bottles, troubleshooting and performing minor repairs of filler equipment, and monitoring empty bottle weights and adjusting accordingly. The operator must maintain communication with other departments, management, and employees, notifying them of any problems or concerns that may restrict production efficiency. Additionally, the role requires ensuring all paperwork is filled out accurately and completely in accordance with SOPs, and following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
6 months related experience required.
Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Must be able to stand, walk, push or pull a majority of the day.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Must be able to work in a wet environment with some exposure to dust, gas or fumes.
Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.
Be able to effectively work in a team environment.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, background and criminal checks).

Responsibilities

Operate Filling machines and make necessary adjustments to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production.
Monitor conveyor lines for damaged bottles.
Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs of filler equipment.
Monitor empty bottle weights and adjust accordingly.
Maintain communication with other departments, management, and employees regarding production efficiency.
Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format with required information.
Document all required information in accordance with SOPs.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Communicate effectively with all departments.
