File Release Clerk

About The Position

The File Release Clerk gathers, sorts, and logs requests in accordance with contractual requirements. The position supports the Case Processing Operation Center (CPOC) within ASRC Federal’s Defense and Intel Operating Group. Work is performed onsite and may also be performed remotely with manager approval, based on business needs. The employee must reside within a one-hour driving distance of the work location in Boyers, Pennsylvania.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least one year of relevant experience.
Type at least 40 words per minute.
Knowledge and understanding of the organization’s and department’s policies and procedures, including handbooks.
Basic computer and office machine literacy, including PIPS, OPM LAN, Microsoft Office, fax, and copier.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members, both in writing and orally.
U.S. citizenship, due to the nature of the work and contract requirements.
Must pass a government background investigation.
Must reside within a one-hour driving distance of the work location in Boyers, Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

Sort workload and prepare it for assignment.
Send completed work to Federal Agencies.
Communicate with Federal Agencies.
Enter adjudication codes into the designated system.
Distribute emails to appropriate locations.
Stay up to date on Operations Manual changes.
Develop and maintain rapport with the team and individual members to help ensure work meets identified goals.
Monitor email requests.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Comply with company policies, procedures, safety rules, and regulations.
