About The Position

Our Winnipeg office is looking for a File Clerk to join the Internal Firm Services team for a fixed term contract (Until December 31st, 2026). This is an on-site position working in our office here at 201 Portage Ave, and no travel is required for the position.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of working experience in an administrative or similar role
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Professional business communication skills
  • Knowledgeable in computer systems with the ability to learn new systems quickly

Responsibilities

  • Handling of confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ensure that all working papers, tax, correspondence and other electronic & paper filing are stored correctly on a daily basis and includes filing of specific documentation in the appropriate area
  • Archiving of files per Firm requirements including sorting through documents from off-site file storage, scanning and electronic filing of the documents, and updating appropriate databases.
  • Maintain data related to off-site storage which includes ensuring that the listing of files are updated on a continuous basis, listings are reviewed and appropriate files are destroyed as per Firm requirements
