About The Position

The purpose of this position is to maintain and deliver files to associates within the real estate department and other surrounding departments, as well as to provide clerical support to the lease administrator. This position impacts a large array of important legal documents and files associated with Publix stores and company-controlled properties and/or facilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or its equivalent
• Basic knowledge of filing principles
• Written Communication

• Independence and ability to handle confidential data with discretion.

• Microsoft Word (Basic)
• Microsoft Excel (Basic)

Nice To Haves

• 6 or more months previous clerical/filing experience
• Publix and Real Estate’s filing system—both electronic and hard copy—procedures and retention policies
• Real Estate terminology and general knowledge of Real Estate legal documents
• Knowledge of the Compass system and other Real Estate/Publix computer programs, including general internet skills
• Microsoft Word (Intermediate)
• Microsoft Excel (Intermediate)
• Microsoft PowerPoint (Basic)
• Microsoft Access (Basic)
• Compass system and other Real Estate/Publix computer programs

Responsibilities

• Maintaining documents and files in the real estate file room.
• Maintaining, creating, and deleting real estate (RE) files and boxes in the Record Retention (RR) warehouse.
• Providing general clerical support and completing miscellaneous items.
• Providing lease administration clerical support.
