About The Position

This position is responsible for assisting with the operation of filament winder machines, ensuring proper setup, maintenance, and material handling. The role requires adherence to safety policies, maintaining cleanliness, and collaborating with other departments to manage priorities. The position involves physical labor and working in various environmental conditions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• No experience required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic knowledge of measuring devices, including calipers, OD micrometers, tape measure, and ruler.
• Detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload filament winder machine.
• Retrieve appropriate tooling for the job.
• Select and verify filament winder program based on the job.
• Set up machines.
• Clean machines.
• String machines.
• Complete paperwork as necessary.
• Remove and replace temporary flooring at workstation.
• Sweep and Mop floors as required.
• Labor in/out using data collect.
• Maintain 5S standards.
• Move completed parts to staging area.
• Perform necessary preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Work closely with other departments to determine priorities.
• Use of overhead crane.
• Follow all work procedures for the area.
• Comply with all safety and company policies.
