About The Position

The College is looking for exceptional colleagues to join the MVCC community. We are currently seeking a Figure Drawing Model in the School of Art. The Figure Drawing Model is responsible for posing nude for Figure Drawing 1 and Figure Drawing 2 students. These classes rely solely on a model for the work that students produce. The instructors use a variety of different poses to challenge students, the model’s capability determines the level of challenge.
Requirements
- Associate degree (or 60 credit hours completed)
- Ability to hold a pose for twenty minutes at a time
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Must follow directions
Nice To Haves
- Nude figure drawing model experience
Responsibilities
- Timely arrival to class sessions as arranged by Art Department faculty and/or staff
- Takes direction to achieve a variety of different poses as the instructor chooses and holds poses for periods of time
- Completes modeling session as required by the faculty member
- Maintains ethical and professional behavior
- Other related duties as assigned
