About The Position

This role focuses on Figma migration work, specifically moving a subset of files and a shared design library to a new account. The specialist will be responsible for fixing breakages, especially with tokens, and will be involved in initial sandbox testing, assessment, effort estimation, and full migration execution. The estimated timeline includes approximately one month for testing and one to two months for migration work. The individual will act as a lead during the migration, helping to define the approach and execution strategy, and will collaborate with other designers, a design system manager, engineering, and Figma support.

Requirements

• Deep Figma expertise with token-level knowledge.
• Strong understanding of design tokens, shared libraries, and cascading properties.
• Strong communication skills and seniority.
• Ability to evaluate, estimate effort, and advise on migration.
• Design systems experience, including components, patterns, and scalable UI systems.
• Significant token experience is the highest priority.

Nice To Haves

• Figma migration experience.
• Familiarity with the Token Studio tool.
• Backend/developer knowledge.
• Experience with GitHub-backed token workflows.
