About The Position

SONIFI is seeking a Field Telecommunications Technician in the Northern CA area. This role is ideal for someone with a strong desire to resolve technical issues, who is flexible, learns quickly, and can work independently. The technician will provide support and guidance to our customer base on SONIFI products, acting as the face of the organization. The role involves supporting customers in their region, with no desk work. The company provides a company vehicle, tools, cell phone, and laptop, along with technical support.

Requirements

Technical degree plus ONE year of related experience in High-Speed Internet and WIFI, Satellite TV, Digital TV, IPTV, Telecom, RF, CATV, MATV, and Head-end.
OR High School Diploma or GED plus THREE years’ work experience in High-Speed Internet and WIFI, Satellite TV, Digital TV, IPTV, Telecom, RF, CATV, MATV, and Head-end.
Valid driver’s license and safe driving habits.
Flexibility to adapt to changing customer priorities and requests.

Responsibilities

Support customers in the assigned region.
Provide support and guidance to customers on SONIFI products.
Resolve technical issues.
Communicate thoughtfully and professionally with staff at hospitality customers.
Understand and respect the boundaries, protocols, and empathy needed in healthcare customer environments.
Adapt to changing customer priorities and requests.
Occasional travel outside of the assigned region.
On-call duties.
Occasional overtime and weekend work to accommodate service level agreements.
