Field Telecommunications Technician
About The Position
SONIFI is seeking a Field Telecommunications Technician in the Northern CA area. This role is ideal for someone with a strong desire to resolve technical issues, who is flexible, learns quickly, and can work independently. The technician will provide support and guidance to our customer base on SONIFI products, acting as the face of an exciting technical organization. The role involves supporting customers in their region, with the company providing a company vehicle, tools, cell phone, laptop, and technical support. The position requires a passion for customer experience and professional communication with staff in hospitality and healthcare environments, understanding their specific protocols and needs.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and safe driving habits.
- Technical degree plus ONE year of related experience in High-Speed Internet and WIFI, Satellite TV, Digital TV, IPTV, Telecom, RF, CATV, MATV, and Head-end.
- OR High School Diploma or GED plus THREE years’ work experience in High-Speed Internet and WIFI, Satellite TV, Digital TV, IPTV, Telecom, RF, CATV, MATV, and Head-end.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing customer priorities and requests.
- Ability to work independently.
- Occasional travel outside of assigned region.
- On-call availability.
- Occasional overtime and weekend work.
