About The Position

Sentinel is seeking an IT Field Technician to assist our client. In this role, you would serve as the primary IT resource responsible for the imaging, configuration, preparation, and deployment of end-user hardware across the organization. This role focuses exclusively on device lifecycle activities such as imaging, staging, deploying, replacing, and collecting equipment including desktops, laptops, printers, card readers, monitors, docks, and other peripherals. This position would be traveling to other locations. This is a 6-month contract reporting at our client location in Vail, CO.

Requirements

  • Ability to configure, image, and prepare desktops, laptops, and mobile devices according to established IT standards, security protocols, and deployment procedures.
  • Experience with deploying and installing end-user equipment, including monitors, printers, card readers, docking stations, and other peripheral devices across multiple onsite locations.
  • Must be comfortable working in a medical facility.
  • Must be able to satisfy client requirements, including proof of required vaccinations, drug screening and adherence to HIPPA privacy regulations.
  • Must have a car, as this position requires travel between locations and the transportation of equipment.
  • A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required.
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Imaging, configuration, preparation, and deployment of end-user hardware.
  • Device lifecycle activities including imaging, staging, deploying, replacing, and collecting equipment (desktops, laptops, printers, card readers, monitors, docks, and other peripherals).
  • Traveling to other locations.
  • Provide limited Tier 1 technical support during deployments, assisting users with device setup, login access, and peripheral connectivity.
  • Escalate issues outside deployment scope as needed.
  • Assist users during deployment, providing limited Tier 1 level support related to device setup, login, and connection to peripherals.
