Field Technician-Industrial Cleaning
About The Position
StreamTech Industrial is hiring Field Technicians with at least one year of tank cleaning experience. The role involves performing daily industrial cleaning tasks according to established procedures, policies, and practices. Technicians work with a crew and should be reliable, dedicated, and effective team members. Frequent travel is required, with work locations varying throughout the United States. StreamTech covers travel expenses, including transportation from the employee’s home shop. Out-of-town assignments may last days, weeks, or months depending on customer workload. Most work is outdoors and may involve exposure to all weather conditions. The position requires substantial physical exertion, including lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders or scaffolds, and working in stooped, crouched, or kneeling positions. StreamTech provides safety and skills-based training. Employment is contingent on previous employment verification, a background check, and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening; ongoing random testing is required to comply with federal, state, and customer requirements. StreamTech is a drug- and alcohol-free workplace and a second chance employer. The position is full-time, on-site, with 8–10-hour shifts and overtime. Travel is required 75% of the time.
Requirements
- At least one year of tank cleaning experience.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability and willingness to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and carrying items weighing 50 pounds, climbing ladders or scaffolds, and working in stooped, crouched, or kneeling positions.
- Willingness to travel 75% of the time, including out-of-town assignments that may last days, weeks, or months.
- Ability to work outdoors and be exposed to all weather conditions.
- Must complete pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and submit to ongoing random testing.
- Must complete previous employment verification and a background check.
- Must be ready to work at designated start times.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily tasks in accordance with established procedures, policies, and practices.
- Carry out heavy-duty work requiring medium to maximum physical exertion, including frequent standing or walking, lifting and carrying materials or objects weighing 50 pounds, climbing ladders or scaffolds, carrying tools and equipment, and working in stooped, crouched, or kneeling positions as required.
- Arrive ready to work at designated start times and maintain reliable transportation.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
- Travel frequently to varying job locations throughout the United States.
