Field Technician (1 Hour Weekly)
About The Position
NWS operates water vending machines in retail stores across the country. We’re building a team of Field Technicians in Dallas, TX to keep those machines clean, stocked, and running right. It’s straightforward work, it pays well, and you’re in charge of your own time. This is an independent contractor role where you will be paid to drive your route and work when it works for you. Each week (or every two weeks, depending on the location), you’ll visit your assigned stores and clean and disinfect the FreshPure machine inside and out, take meter readings and log the data on your service report, snap photos of the machine condition at every visit, submit your completed report to the home office when you’re done, and call in anything that looks off — damage, mechanical issues, anything unusual. Each stop takes about an hour. Your total hours per week depend on how many stores are on your route. This is not a repair job; if a machine has a mechanical or technical issue, you flag it and we send a Service Technician. Your job is to keep things clean, documented, and reported.
Requirements
- A reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license
- A smartphone with a camera for photo submissions
- Attention to detail — you follow the checklist, every time
- You show up when you’re scheduled.
