About The Position

NWS operates water vending machines in retail stores across the country. We’re building a team of Field Technicians in Katy, TX to keep those machines clean, stocked, and running right. It’s straightforward work, it pays well, and you’re in charge of your own time. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor role with a pay rate of $31/hr. The role involves working independently, not being stuck at a desk, and having a consistent route. Each stop takes about an hour, and total weekly hours depend on the number of stores on the route. This is not a repair job; the technician's role is to keep machines clean, documented, and reported.

Requirements

• A reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license
• A smartphone with a camera for photo submissions
• Attention to detail — you follow the checklist, every time
• You show up when you’re scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect the FreshPure machine inside and out
• Take meter readings and log the data on your service report
• Snap photos of the machine condition at every visit
• Submit your completed report to the home office when you’re done
• Call in anything that looks off — damage, mechanical issues, anything unusual
