About The Position

The Field Technician works in the field setting up, operating, and maintaining pumps, pipelines, and water systems that support fracking and production activities. The role is within Water Transfer and is based in Woodsfield, Ohio. Rotating schedules may vary depending on location and project needs. The job is field-based and full-time, with possible 12-hour shifts, travel to job sites, and overnight stays as required. Work takes place outdoors in all weather conditions. No prior experience is required; training is provided.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in outdoor, physically demanding environments.

Nice To Haves

• Prior oil and gas or water transfer experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and tear down pumps, piping, and related systems.
• Operate and maintain water transfer equipment.
• Monitor fluid levels and pressures, and perform equipment checks.
• Maintain safety procedures and follow company standard operating procedures.
• Communicate clearly and work well as part of a team.
• Travel to job sites as needed, often with overnight stays.
