This position is based out of the companies’ headquarters in San Antonio, TX. However, work locations will vary from day-to-day and hitch-to-hitch, to include all branches and customer locations across Texas and the United States. To be successful in this position, the individual must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to function effectively both as a member of a team and also as an independent agent in the delivery of service, maintenance and repairs. Work locations are remote and varied-- geographically dispersed, changing week to week, and fully exposed to all extremes of weather. Successful performance will require both physical and mental resilience and toughness. Maintenance issues that occur after-hours will be addressed in an on-call rotation basis. The Special Operations Technician will frequently drive long distances in a company truck, work with exposed wastewater (sewage), and experience double & triple shifts consecutively. A successful Special Operations Technician must be able to accomplish these tasks without compromising the delivery of quality, safety, or customer service in any way.
