About The Position

This role involves working in the field using the latest innovative equipment. Immediate openings are available in the Cincinnati, OH and Northern KY and surrounding Areas. No experience is required. The company believes in providing employees with the opportunity to develop their skills with in-field & hands-on training and prides itself on promoting from within. Technicians use the latest safety equipment to accurately detect gas leaks and quickly analyze data. After training, you’ll get to show off your time management & problem-solving skills by working independently. You will be working outside in the fresh air, typically walking 5+ miles per day. Requirements

  • High School Diploma OR GED
  • Valid, unexpired Driver’s license
  • Passion for Environmental Safety
  • Tech Enthusiast (Direct experience working with hands-on technology is a plus, including phone & computer)
  • Problem Solving skills
  • Superb Customer Service skills
  • Communication Skills
  • Attention to Detail
  • Physical Stamina (Endurance to perform tasks effectively and safely)
  • Personal vehicle for daily work use (Technicians are eligible for mileage reimbursement)
  • Physical Requirements: Bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking several miles per day; carry up to 20 lbs. of equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Safeguarding communities by inspecting, detecting, and preventing natural gas leaks.
  • Using the latest innovative equipment for field work.
  • Working independently after training, utilizing time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Working outdoors in the fresh air, typically walking 5+ miles per day.
  • Accurately detecting gas leaks and quickly analyzing data using the latest safety equipment.
  • Relaying findings and conveying information accurately.
  • Being vigilant and staying focused while working to locate leaks.
  • Performing tasks effectively and safely, including bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking several miles per day, and carrying up to 20 lbs. of equipment.
