Join the Pape’ Team! As our Field Technician, you’ll be the trusted expert keeping our customers’ material handling equipment running at peak performance. You’ll travel throughout your assigned area of region, performing diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance right at customer locations. Your day-to-day work ensures maximum uptime for essential equipment and peace of mind for the people who rely on it. Each day, you’ll work on all makes and models of material handling equipment, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of systems including electric forklift systems, LPG and diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, carburetors, electrical and air systems, final drives, clutches, and more. Occasionally, you may assist with repairs in the shop as well. Your responsibilities will also include accurately troubleshooting equipment issues, communicating clearly with customers, and ensuring high-quality service is delivered on every visit. You’ll also work with the Parts Department to identify, order, and return parts as needed to complete each job efficiently and effectively. Requirements

  • 5 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing equipment, preferably in the material handling industry.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work under little or no supervision.
  • Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
  • Driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Must provide own tools.

Nice To Haves

  • CDL preferred.

Responsibilities
