Field Technician (2 Hours Weekly Cleaning and Data Collection)
About The Position
National Water Services (NWS) operates water vending machines in retail stores across the country. We are building a team of Field Technicians in Houston, TX to keep those machines clean, stocked, and running properly. This role involves working independently, visiting assigned stores on a consistent route to clean and disinfect water vending machines, take meter readings, log data, and report any issues. It is straightforward work that pays well, and the technician is in charge of their own time. This is not a repair job; the technician's role is to ensure machines are clean, documented, and issues are reported.
Requirements
- A reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license.
- A smartphone with a camera for photo submissions.
- Attention to detail; follow the checklist every time.
- Reliability; show up when scheduled.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in field services, retail merchandising, delivery routes, janitorial work, or similar.
Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect the water vending machine inside and out.
- Take meter readings and log the data on the service report.
- Snap photos of the machine condition at every visit.
- Submit the completed report to the home office.
- Call in anything that looks off, such as damage, mechanical issues, or anything unusual.
