Requirements

Minimum 4 years of experience as a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic with a construction equipment or equipment rental background.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with diesel engines, electrical, hydraulic, Tier 4, and aftertreatment systems.
Experience repairing construction equipment, including generators, rollers, and earthmoving equipment.
Must provide own tools averaging $10,000+ in value.
Basic computer skills for work orders, parts ordering, and service documentation.
Ability to inspect, maintain, diagnose, and repair equipment to manufacturer specifications.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, integrity, and a team-first mindset.
Stable work history with a commitment to long-term career growth preferred.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with diesel engines, electrical, hydraulic, Tier 4, and aftertreatment systems.
Repair construction equipment, including generators, rollers, and earthmoving equipment.
Inspect, maintain, diagnose, and repair equipment to manufacturer specifications.
Complete work orders, order parts, and document service information using basic computer skills.
