About The Position

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Field Technician in Anaheim, California. The role provides maintenance and technical support for products at customer and/or field locations. The technician works under limited supervision and may serve as a resource to other employees in areas of expertise. The position is scheduled for 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, and requires 65% travel.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience, or a post-secondary/associate degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

Computer skills related to Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify equipment.
Provide maintenance and technical support for equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform diagnostic tests.
Install, upgrade, and remove products while ensuring coordinated engineering field changes.
Maintain effective customer communications and relations.
Provide onsite training to customer support personnel, as needed.
Install, check out, operate, maintain, repair, and modify customer equipment and/or software.
Serve as the company liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.
Interpret customer needs and clarify whether problem resolution belongs to sales personnel, customer support representatives, or engineers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
