About The Position

Weston & Sampson is seeking a full-time Co-Op employee for its Winter 2027 winter program. The role is based out of the Plymouth, Massachusetts, or Wilmington, Massachusetts office and involves performing cross-connection control surveys for private and public water systems. The employee will complete assigned testing and surveys, document field activity, build proficiency with backflow testing and related software, and develop knowledge of cross-connection systems and daily production requirements. Requirements

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
0 to 1 year of experience in a related field, with a basic understanding of or interest in water systems.
Willingness to obtain required licenses within the specified timeframe.
Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work in a team environment and get along with others.
Ability to meet deadlines and work cooperatively with others; ability to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
Ability to communicate through email and complete basic data entry and documentation requirements.
Basic computer literacy, including understanding of the Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

Perform cross-connection control surveys for private and public water systems.
Effectively use a backflow test kit.
Develop an understanding of cross-connection systems and work toward daily production requirements.
Learn to use software efficiently to develop production skills.
Document field activity for clients and the office.
Complete assigned testing and surveys.
Develop customer-oriented interpersonal skills.
Seek clarification on unclear requirements and identify and clarify assumptions in design and implementation.
