About The Position

The Field Talent Staff (FTS) role at Chick-fil-A, Inc. offers new and emerging Restaurant Leaders an opportunity to leverage their existing restaurant knowledge. FTS members are responsible for training Team Members in new Chick-fil-A Restaurants on Brand and Operational Standards. They also provide operational support at various Chick-fil-A, Inc. assignments, which include Company-Owned Restaurants, Chick-fil-A, Inc. Support Centers, Disaster Relief efforts, or other similar temporary locations. This program is designed to develop participants' leadership, training, and operational skills through collaboration with other leaders across Chick-fil-A. Individuals can work a maximum of eight assignments per year, with each assignment lasting up to three weeks. A new certification course is required for all FTS1 and FTS2 roles, with specific deadlines: new FTS must complete the 4-hour course within 72 hours of enrolling, while on their first assignment; existing FTS have until June 30, 2026, to complete the course while not on an assignment, after which eligibility to serve will cease without certification.

Requirements

  • Currently work in a Chick-fil-A-branded restaurant.
  • Have worked at that location for at least six months.
  • Have their current employer’s support before applying.
  • Complete the FTS Program Application prior to applying for the first training event.
  • Successfully pass a Background Check.
  • Complete the FTS1 Certification Course (effective Feb. 16, 2026, for all FTS1 and FTS2; new FTS on first assignment, existing FTS by June 30, 2026).

Responsibilities

  • Utilize current restaurant knowledge to train Team Members in new Chick-fil-A Restaurants on Brand and Operational Standards.
  • Provide operational support at Chick-fil-A, Inc. assignments, including Chick-fil-A, Inc.-Owned Restaurants, Chick-fil-A, Inc. Support Centers, or Disaster Relief or other similar temporary locations.
  • Complete a new certification course (FTS1 Certification Course) within 72 hours after enrolling for new FTS, or by June 30, 2026, for existing FTS.
  • Serve at a Company-Owned Restaurant (COR) as Field Talent Staff, performing training and operational support roles.

Benefits

  • Paid at an hourly rate of $20 ($21.50 per hour for assignments located in the state of Washington).
  • Daily per diem.
  • Overtime pay at one and one-half times the regular rate for hours worked over 40 in a workweek.
  • 5 hours of pay for completing the 4-hour FTS1 Certification Course (for existing FTS completing it off-assignment).
  • One day of per diem for use of personal technology during certification course completion (for existing FTS completing it off-assignment).
  • Development of leadership, training, and operational skills.
