About The Position

The Chick-fil-A, Inc. Field Talent Staff (FTS) program offers an opportunity for new and emerging Restaurant Leaders to leverage their existing restaurant knowledge to train Team Members in new Chick-fil-A Restaurants on Brand and Operational Standards. FTS also provide operational support at various Chick-fil-A, Inc. assignments, including Chick-fil-A, Inc.-Owned Restaurants, Chick-fil-A, Inc. Support Centers, or temporary locations such as Disaster Relief sites. This role is designed to develop leadership, training, and operational skills through collaboration with other leaders from across Chick-fil-A. Individuals applying for Field Talent Staff must currently be employed at a Chick-fil-A-branded restaurant, have at least six months of experience at that location, and secure their current employer’s support before applying. FTS members are limited to a maximum of eight Chick-fil-A, Inc. assignments per year, with each event lasting up to three weeks. A new certification course is required for all FTS1 and FTS2, effective February 16, 2026. New FTS will complete this certification during their first assignment, while existing FTS have until June 30, 2026, to complete it outside of assignments. Failure to complete the certification by July 1, 2026, will result in ineligibility for assignments.

Requirements

  • Must currently work in a Chick-fil-A-branded restaurant
  • Must have worked at that location for at least six months
  • Must have current employer’s support before applying
  • FTS1 and FTS2 will be required to complete a new certification course (effective Feb. 16, 2026)
  • New FTS must complete the certification while on their first assignment
  • Existing FTS must complete the certification course by June 30, 2026, while not on an assignment

Responsibilities

  • Train Team Members in new Chick-fil-A Restaurants on Brand and Operational Standards
  • Provide operational support at Chick-fil-A, Inc. assignments, including Chick-fil-A, Inc.-Owned Restaurants, Chick-fil-A, Inc. Support Centers, or Disaster Relief or other similar temporary locations
  • Primarily responsible for training new Team Members in Front of House (FOH), Drive-Thru, Back of House (BOH) and/or Prep

Benefits

  • Paid at an hourly rate of $20 ($21.50 per hour for assignments located in the state of Washington)
  • Daily per diem
  • Any hours worked over 40 in a workweek will be paid at a rate of one and one-half times the regular rate of pay
  • 5 hours of time will be paid for 4 hours of learning time in addition to paid breaks upon completion of the certification course
  • One day of per diem will be paid for use of personal technology for the certification course
