About The Position

As a Field Support Veterinarian with Encore Vet Group, you will work across the company’s hospitals in North Carolina and South Carolina. The role offers variety across hospitals, communities, and teams while providing veterinarian coverage where it is needed. You will help create capacity so more patients can be seen, veterinarians can get additional support, and hospitals can manage growth or transitions. You will bring your experience and perspective to each hospital while learning from the local teams and connecting doctors across Encore practices.

Requirements

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree.
• Licensed or eligible to practice in North Carolina and South Carolina.
• Experienced veterinarian comfortable working across different hospital environments.
• Ability to practice independently while collaborating with each local team.
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Provide veterinarian coverage across Encore hospitals in North Carolina and South Carolina.
• Help increase access to care and hospital capacity while supporting thoughtful patient care.
• Provide continuity during periods when additional veterinarian coverage is needed.
• Contribute experience and perspective to clinical teams across multiple practices.
• Build connections and collaborate with doctors and teams across Encore hospitals.
