About The Position

This is a full-time, temporary position expected to last approximately six months. In this role the Field Support Technician is Inspiren's on-the-ground presence at senior living communities — supporting site installation, site readiness, device servicing, and quality assurance for Inspiren's connected devices (AUGi, Sense, Help Buttons, Gateways, and Links). Working alongside the Implementation Manager (IM) and Support Teams, this role provides hands-on field support before, during, and after installation: confirming site readiness, performing quality checks on installed devices, assisting with placement and servicing as directed, and troubleshooting exceptions in real time.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct room-by-room walkthroughs to confirm device placement and counts using Inspiren's mapping/walkthrough tools
  • Perform wireless network (Wi-Fi) scans
  • Capture room naming, device counts, and placement data per Inspiren conventions
  • Flag exceptions, access issues, or placement ambiguity to the IM in real time
  • Assist with mounting, cable management, and power confirmation for AUGi, Sense, Help Button, Gateway, and Link devices as directed by the IM
  • Perform quality assurance checks confirming installed devices meet Inspiren's placement and configuration standards
  • Provide ongoing field support for previously installed devices, including troubleshooting, minor adjustments, and device swaps/replacements
  • Maintain an installation/service log documenting devices serviced, locations, and exceptions
  • Follow cleanliness and control procedures per facility requirements
  • Update spreadsheets/tracking systems with install and service status
  • Ongoing device maintenance, including servicing of individual devices or full installed communities post installation
  • Communicate professionally and respectfully with community staff, leadership, and residents and escalate issues as needed
  • Follow resident privacy, dignity, and interaction guidelines
  • Coordinate closely with the onsite or remote IM to execute the agreed project scope (via Slack/text at smaller or remote-supported sites)
  • Provide end-of-day summaries and immediate escalation of critical blockers
  • Submit expense reports within timely manner
