About The Position
Under the direction of the Field Support Manager, the Field Support Technician (FST) is an infield representative responsible for supporting large and small supermarket and industrial customers. The FST will conduct store/site visits, inspections, troubleshooting, and repair within assigned locations.
Requirements
- A technical degree or certification in related field and 3-5 years of related experience in service and repair in the refrigeration industry
- Experience with industrial refrigeration applications and installation of refrigerated cases, methods and techniques are a plus
- Travel required
- Experience with CO2 PLC, CPC, Micro-Thermal, Danfoss, RDM and other control packages
- Troubleshooting refrigeration systems
- Experience with wiring schematics and troubleshooting electrical systems
- Understanding of network and communication systems
- Ability to positively interact with customers, clients, and co-workers
- Requires the use of safety glasses and steel-toed safety shoes

Nice To Haves
- Experience with industrial refrigeration applications and installation of refrigerated cases, methods and techniques are a plus
Responsibilities
- Inspect the installation of equipment for proper leveling, sealing, piping, and refrigeration practices.
- Observe the operation of mechanical and electrical components
- Assist installers in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical and refrigeration problems on-site and via telephone support
- Provide feedback and design ideas to improve the installation, operation, or appearance of our equipment
- Complete paperwork and reports as required
- Attend regional and national meetings for Zero Zone field personnel
- Other duties as assigned
