Client Support Technician
About The Position
Ready to Drive Retail Success? Join North Country as a Field Support Technician! As our POS Field Service Technician, you'll keep grocery stores, convenience stores, and restaurants running smoothly. Plus, after just 6 months, you'll be eligible for our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) – your hard work directly translates to shared profits and wealth building. This role involves troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues remotely and on-site, installing and deploying retail systems, and traveling to client sites. You will be the expert who gets businesses back up and running when systems go down, lead installation projects, and maintain critical inventory systems.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean record.
- Self-motivated problem-solver who can troubleshoot issues independently.
- Networking fundamentals — understanding of basic networking concepts such as Ethernet, Wi-Fi, IP addresses, routers, switches, and connectivity issues.
- Comfortable providing hands-on technical support at client locations
Nice To Haves
- Experience or familiarity with IT, networking, Wi-Fi, computer hardware, and basic technical troubleshooting is a plus.
