About The Position

Provides startup, troubleshooting, and end user training for lighting control systems. Can easily read lighting and floor plans and interpret specifications to ensure system installations match the plans and meet the end user's expectations. Has enough expertise to handle complex jobs and work with both internal and external stakeholders to address concerns and drive project completion.

Requirements

Associate's Degree or Technical Degree, or equivalent
1 to 2 years of relevant technical experience
General computer skills, including email, spreadsheets, word processing, and data entry
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
Understanding of basic electrical components (relays, drivers, ballasts, etc.)

Nice To Haves

2 to 4 years of relevant experience in problem-solving, customer-facing, and hands-on technical roles
Understanding of lighting control systems
Ability to meet travel requirements

Performs onsite lighting and control startup, troubleshooting, and end user training – 55%
Provides expert support for both internal and external customers as it pertains to field applications of products – 30%
Creates and maintains relationships with key stakeholders to provide differentiated service – 10%
