About The Position

The Field Supervisor provides customers with the lowest in-place concrete costs by delivering hands-on technical guidance, instruction, and oversight for EFCO’s forming systems on active job sites. This role ensures formwork is assembled, cycled, and maintained with the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and quality. The Field Supervisor proactively supports LIPCC by collaborating with Sales and Engineering teams to improve formwork solutions, jobsite safety, and overall efficiency before equipment reaches the field. By strengthening EFCO’s reputation through proactive service, job-site problem solving, and effective customer relations, the Field Supervisor serves as EFCO’s “voice in the field,” carrying forward EFCO’s tradition of innovation and super service in the concrete forming industry. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related construction experience.
  • OSHA 10 mandatory (will provide certification).
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory.
  • Strong decision-making, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including email, internet, word processing, spreadsheets, and file management.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs and work comfortably in elevated positions.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (2–4 nights per week).
  • Proficiently uses job-specific tools, systems, and procedures to perform tasks effectively.
  • Takes ownership of actions, tasks, and outcomes; follows through on commitments.

Responsibilities

  • Train, lead, and direct customers in the safe and efficient assembly and cycling of EFCO formwork systems.
  • Coach crews on proper techniques, labor organization, equipment staging, and build quality to support schedule, safety, and productivity goals.
  • Develop and deliver operations worksheets and daily work schedules to guide field execution and reinforce efficient work practices.
  • Collaborate with Sales, contractors, territory managers, and engineers to develop and validate safe, efficient formwork solutions before and during projects.
  • Create and review operations worksheets with Sales to demonstrate and support lowest-in-place concrete cost assumptions.
  • Provide in-person guidance on assembly, cycling, and sequencing; troubleshooting issues; recommend improvements; and build customer confidence in EFCO’s systems.
  • Plan and schedule field visits with district teams while reviewing drawings, equipment lists, and job requirements in advance.
  • Coordinate logistics and provide pre-delivery operations worksheets and daily work schedules so customers understand assembly methods, sequencing, labor needs, and required tools before equipment arrives on site.
  • Complete Field Service Fact Sheets promptly, documenting site conditions, operational observations, customer feedback, safety concerns, and recommendations to support continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and sales efforts.
  • Lead and facilitate training initiatives to reinforce safe handling and efficient use of EFCO systems, including toolbox talks, safety talks, lunch and learns, and other knowledge-sharing sessions with district teams on best practices and operational insights.
